Definition These gifts are public in nature and revolve around the ministry of equipping the church members for service. These gifts function within a personal ministry of encouraging, building up and strengthening the body. These gifts proved God's message and His messengers when the Church, had no completed Bible go guide and instruct them.

2. Defining It A Little Better?
A. Support Gifts (Ephesians 4:11)
1. Apostleship - The apostles ministry was foundational for the early church and appears to only be given during this time. The main qualification is that you were chosen personally by Christ. You had to see Him resurrected.
2. Prophecy - A direct revelation from God as a blueprint for the early church. This was needed until the Bible could be completely written.
3. Evangelism - One who has a unique ability to share the gospel of salvation with ease, courage, and effectiveness.
4. Pastor-Teacher - This is an ability to assume the personal responsibility for the spiritual welfare of a group of believers over a certain time.
5. Teaching - This is the ability to define, describe and declare an existing truth in such a way that others learn from you.
