Witnessing - A Reason For My Life

"Making It Final - Show Them"
Proverbs 11:30

1. The Steps to Follow:
A. Let the conversation naturally come to spiritual things.
B. Be watching for an opportunity to share the gospel.
C. Once the way is opened don't hesitate to show them the plan for salvation.
D. It helps to have the plan memorized with the scriptures that follow.

2. Four Things Needed To Receive Salvation:
A. Decide to believe. (Romans 10:13)
"As the scripture says, 'Anyone who calls on the Lord will be saved."
B. Admit your sin. (1 John 1:9)
"But if we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins, because we can trust God to do
what is right. He will cleanse us from all the wrongs we have done."
C. Repent from your sin. (Acts 17:30)
"In the past, people did not understand God, and he ignored this. But now, God tells all people in the world to change their hearts and lives."
D. Experience God's Forgiveness. (John 1:12)
"But to all who did accept him and believe in him he gave the right to become children
of God."

3. Helping Them See The Eternal Value (1 John 5:13-15)
"I write this letter to you who believe in the Son of God so you will know you have eternal life. And this is the boldness we have in God's presence: that if we ask God for anything that agrees with what he wants, he hears us. If we know he hears us every time we ask him, we know we have what we ask from him."
