Joy - An Attitude For My Life

"Your Attitude Key to Success!"
Proverbs 23:7

1. The Attitude - What Is It?
An inward feeling expressed by an outward behavior.
2. The Attitude - Why Is It Important?
A. Our attitude determines our approach to life.
1) Ask yourself: Do you feel your world is treating you well?
2) We are individually responsible for our attitude.
B. Our attitude determines our relationships with other people.
1) "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." (Matthew 7:12)
2) Until we walk in another man's shoes and see life through another's eyes we can not have a right attitude in our relationships.
C. Often our attitude is the only difference between success and failure.
1) Our attitude determines our outcome.
2) There is very little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference.
D. Our attitude can turn our problems into blessings.
1) What is the difference between an obstacle and an opportunity? Our attitude toward it. Every opportunity has a difficulty and every difficulty has an opportunity.
2) Life can be likened to a grindstone. Whether it grinds you down or polishes you depends upon what you are made of.
E. Our attitude can give us an uncommonly positive perspective.
F. Our attitude is not automatically good just because we are Christians.
G. My attitude is my best friend or my worst enemy.
